Do you shop online? Did you know that every time you buy something you could be raising money for Pegasus Explorer Scouts?
That’s right - over 3000 well known retailers including Amazon, M&S, Boden, Waitrose, House of Fraser, Vodafone, Virgin Atlantic and many more, will donate a percentage of what you spend to Pegasus Explorer Scouts! when you shop with them, via fundraising website easyfundraising.org.uk
It’s like nectar but instead of earning points, each purchase generates a donation. So instead of going directly to a retailer’s website, go to easyfundraising first and choose the retailer you want to shop with – then everything you spend with that retailer earns a free donation for Pegasus Explorer Scouts. It’s completely free to use and your shopping won’t cost you a penny more.
On average, each retailer will donate 5% of the cost of your shopping - and those donations soon mount up.
So whatever you need to buy, from your weekly grocery shop or fashion must-have, to your business travel, office supplies or mobile phone, buy it via easyfundraising and raise money for Pegasus Explorer Scouts at no extra cost to you!

In order to raise funds for the expedition the Unit are currently involved in recycling the following:
Mobile phones – those that are in working condition can have some recycle value. Please remove SIM cards (any SIM card sent in error will be removed and destroyed but for security reasons cannot be returned). Phones must have a battery and be working to have any value although those that do not work or are too damaged to recycle will be accepted to reduce harmful chemicals going to landfill. It is not necessary to send the chargers (although these will be accepted).
Inkjet cartridges - over 13 million plastic inkjet cartridges are sent to landfill in the UK every year. Whilst these have a small recyclable value every little helps. Note you cannot recycle Epson cartridges or previously recycled cartridges, only original HP, Lexmark and some Canon (i.e. those with a metal contact strip).
We are continuing our Rag Bag Recycling campaign which helps to raise money for the Explorer Belt. Through Rag Bag your are able to help recycle textiles and clothing that may have ended up going to landfill. It is estimated that approximately 1.75 million tonnes of clothing waste is produced in the UK every year.
